Status Classification: Exempt vs. Nonexempt

The minimum wage and over-time provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) are enforced by the Wage and Hour Division (WHD) of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The department is dedicated to getting employers in line with FLSA regulations.
