Talent is all the rage these days. Look through almost any organization’s annual report and you are sure to find a proud declaration that its greatest asset is its people and that it is fully committed to hiring the best talent it can find. While this sounds great on paper, one can’t help but wonder if these organizations are truly putting their money where the mouth is.
